Creative Strategy & Testing

Every brief we take starts with the person on the other side of the ad: what they notice, what they doubt and what would make them buy. That becomes three or four written ideas worth testing, a campaign concept that carries them, and the work itself, grouped so your results can show which idea was right.

South African studio. Working with brands across South Africa and worldwide.

Who it's for

Creative Strategy

Brands that sell online and already run paid social, with creative going out but no clear picture of what's working or why. If you're not advertising yet, the Launch Project gives you the research and direction first.

Creative Growth Pilot or Launch Project
Duration
Four weeks, plus a read-out
Price
Pilot from R18,000, Launch Project R12,500
Usage
Full commercial use, no renewal fees

What's included

The scope.

  • Customer research from reviews, comments and support questions
  • A review of competitor ads in your category
  • A look at what's already running in your account
  • 3 to 4 written hypotheses
  • A campaign concept that tests them
  • 12 to 20 finished assets, grouped by hypothesis
  • A test plan for your media buyer
  • A written read-out after the ads have run

Process

How a pilot runs.

  1. 01

    Research

Your customers, your competitors and your account, in the first week.

  2. 02

    Hypotheses

Three or four written guesses about why people buy or hesitate, agreed with you.

  3. 03

    Concept and production

One campaign idea that carries them, made into assets grouped by hypothesis.

  4. 04

    Launch

Your buyer runs the ads to the test plan.

  5. 05

    Read-out

Two weeks later: what each hypothesis showed, what to make next, and how sure we are.

Reporting

A read-out, in this format.

Illustrative layout only. These are not results from a client.

Isn't this what our media buyer does?

Your buyer decides where the money goes and reads the numbers. We decide what the ads say and why, and make them. The two jobs work best side by side: the buyer's results tell us which idea landed, and the next round is built from that.

Questions

Creative Strategy questions.

What does the pilot need from us?

An active paid social account, someone on your side to launch the ads, view access to the results, and about R10,000 of test spend over two weeks, paid to the platform.

What's a hypothesis?

A specific, written guess about why customers buy or hesitate, such as "people doubt it works on dry skin, so we lead with the proof". The work is made to show whether it's right.

Will this increase our sales?

We can't promise that without your numbers, and we won't. What the pilot gives you is a clearer answer about what your customers respond to, and work built on that answer. Small budgets give directional results, and the read-out says so.

What happens after the pilot?

You keep everything we made and the read-out. If it makes sense to continue, the Creative Growth Partnership runs the same cycle every month. We take on two partnerships at a time.
